Busy weekend, eh? Holy fuck am I ever glad tomorrow is Monday. I need a break from being social and amicable. My food induced happiness cracked tonight after dinner, and I shot the night to hell. Easter is a mammoth holiday. I think it takes almost as much energy as Christmas but it is drawn out from Thursday night until Sunday. This year for the first time I became aware of the particularly atheist disposition I have adopted. The West has largely aligned itself with Christian traditions and as such public holidays largely coincide with those times of celebration and festival in Christianity. Holidays like Christmas and Easter have become so ingrained into our society they have become a major part of our economy. I just don't understand why we have let our lives ruled by our purchasing power. Hopefully for Christmas this year I can give myself the gift of being nice and alone, with lots of liquor and a good view.


We think so highly of ourselves. In reality we're all useless, lazy, dumb assholes.
